Me and My Art

I am fascinated by backstreets and alleyways.  Here people of different backgrounds encounter each other, and life blossoms to its fullest.  In my art, I use dots, lines and planes with vibrant colors to create fluid landscapes where memory and reality, tradition and modernity, peace and anxiety intersect.  At a time when entire neighborhoods are rapidly disappearing, art allows me to stay grounded, and be free to explore the myriad facets of my heritage.
